Having a biology degree helps, especially with the emphasis on microbiology. My advice would be to contact breweries you are interested in and see what THEY tell you. A friend of mine is a brewmaster for Molson, and he doesn't have any formal education, but he has worked there for 17 years and moved through the ranks. If you live in America, there are over 700 craft/microbrewers that are small enough to give your request the personal attention you need. Take a tour of a few microbreweries and ask questions, show interest, and see where it takes you. There are several beer web sites that list the plethora of breweries in the world and their web sites (which lead to phone numbers and email contacts) which I've listed below. Good Luck and Follow your passion
My son is in his third year of law school. I would suggest to you that researching case histories, (better bone up on the Darwin case), talk to your Professors see what they can recommend. I know this isn't what you wanted to hear, and I hope someone else can help you with more information. Good luck.
Most carpenters learn their trade through apprenticeship programs. Carpenters unions may offer apprenticeship opportunities. Another source of training, if you're low income and the son is late teens or early twenties is Job Corps. Some community colleges offer welding and other trades. Perhaps some offer carpentry, too.
It is very true in many fields that men make more for doing the same job a woman does. In the nursing field, men are proven to make more than the women-same job-same educational requirements. Men almost always get promoted quickly in the nursing field also, as opposed to women who must work for many years to get a promotion. Nursing has been a female dominated profession, however, compare that to law enforcement, that is male dominated. Females are not promoted more quickly, and in law enforcement that does not require the education that nursing does, compare the pay and benefits and law enforcement is way ahead. A nurse retireing will do so without the benefit of health insurance, unlike a police officer, who after just 20 years retires with health insurance and a healthy pension. Women are indeed short changed. More education is not the answer as McCain suggests, equal pay and equal opportunity is the answer. McCain apparently does not understand the middle class workers. His comment implies that women do not make as much as men because they lack education-a very stupid assessment of the situation.
I'm a retired stock broker. One must pass a lengthy (all day) test called the series 7. Some states have additional requirements. There are cram courses which generally last a week or so designed to help you pass the test. A large firm generally trains you with a small salary to pass the test (all of this training lasts two to three months)...this is the best way to go. First year incomes are low...about 25-35K. After 5 years, average brokers are making 65-110k. After 10 years, average brokers are making 100-175K. Above average brokers can make much more. Keep in mind that most candidates do not make it to the 5 or 10 year mark, so that those who survive are the ones making the money. To get hired, you need a sales background, and an idea as to how you will get clients.
Formal training is not required for such an occupation. However, if you want to learn how to install automobile parts and amenities, there are numerous technical schools you can attend to learn those skills. Age is not essential; however, it helps to be an adult. The bottom line is that you have to personally know an auto shop owner and prove to him/her that you can install automobile parts. If s/he knows your skills and likes you, then you'll get hired.
Being a Golf Professional isn't necessarily the same as being a Professional Golfer. Golf Pros generally work within the golf industry as instructors, Golf Course Managers/Director's of Golf etc. Professional Golfers play the game to make a living. To become a Golf Pro you need at the least to have a diploma in golf management from a community college. These courses teach everything from course maintenance to club repairs to running local tournaments to managing a golf course. To be a Professional Golfer you need the skill to play the game at it's highest level.
Check this site : http://www.allcriminaljusticeschools.com/faqs/securityguard.php?src=goo_security7b Then also contact your local law enforcement agency - some states now have a state licensing requirement ( NY does that I know). You could try just checking he web sites of companies in your area to see if they are hiring. Good Luck!
education and training on teacher development is one of the vast ocean on teaching and learning field. For you should consult in the institute which are related to teacher training.
You're already qualified. It would be all in how you present yourself.
Not everyone can learn by taking online courses--so there will still be a need for the traditional sage on the stage.
Lots of chemistry. If you want to be 'the man', you will need a PhD. If you want to be a lab assistant, you can get by with a BS. It just depends on how much experiance and school you have. You won't be walking into a research lab on your first day and runnning the place...no matter what degree you get, you will need some real world experiance.
well the ability to draw is important, art, computer design, design and computers
The following is from an article produced by Occupational Outlook Handbook, which is produced by the U.S. Department of Labor: Because of the wide range of skills required, there are several ways to become a computer support specialist. Employers seek computer professionals who have fundamental computer skills and good interpersonal and communication skills. College graduates with a computer-related bachelor's degree should enjoy very favorable employment prospects, particularly if they have supplemented their formal education with relevant work experience. But because of the rapid growth in demand for computer support specialists, those who have strong computer skills but do not have a bachelor's degree should continue to qualify for some entry-level positions. Many companies are becoming more flexible about requiring a college degree for support positions because of the rampant demand for specialists. However, certification and practical experience demonstrating these skills will be essential for applicants without a degree. Completion of a certification-training program, offered by a variety of vendors and product makers, may help some people to qualify for entry-level positions. Relevant computer experience may substitute for formal education. http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1155/is_1_45/ai_72790758/pg_3 My advice is to complete a college degree. You don't want to be the low man on the totem pole with just a certificate! s
